Both! You can experience the Lectio Divina Journals and the Tasting Party as a group or as an individual. We've designed them for either season...because we know sometimes it's better together and, other times, we need to be alone.

If you choose to do Tasting Party with a group, we suggest you unbox together for the Opening Session!

No...we have heartwork rather than homework. After each session, the On-The-Go Curio allows you to carry your unique Lectio Divina word or phrase as a simple reminder of what God is doing. You also have the Imagination Cards, 45 scriptures themed around each session followed by a thought-provoking question to spark the imagination...to imagine your story within His story. There are five cards per session.

Each video session follows the outline below. If you're in a group, you simply pause the video to discuss and click play when you're ready to resume. If you're experiencing Tasting Party as an individual, you can fast foward the group question.

Tasting Party and the Lectio Divina Journals are designed to be user friendly.

For Tasting Party, simply "click play" and go! You don't need a leader to do prep work, but you will need someone to host the group and someone to set up the video connection every week. If you are meeting with a group, we suggest waiting to unboxing together during the Opening Session. It's super fun!

If you use the Lectio Divina journals as a group, we suggest opening up time after the readings for anyone to share their word or phrase. Some of our favorite moments have come from sharing our journals together!

The Experiential

Our bible study box includes tangible elements such as the Sensory Kit, On-The-Go Curio, and the Writing Kit to incorporate the senses.

The Personalized

The Lectio Divina practice is extremely personal. The Holy Spirit gives you a word or phrase uniquely made for you. The On-The-Go Curio is an acrylic trinket that allows you to write or draw your word or phrase to take on-the-go.

Your Tasting Party Bible Study includes your password and QR code to view your videos. We've also included a link at the bottom of this website titled "Video Sessions." Simply click the link and enter your password from the Guidebook or Video Guide.

Most video sessions run an average time from 1.5 to 2 hours including discussion. As an individual study, the average time is 30-45 minutes.

You do not need a theme to go with the journal. With 30 entries, you can choose your own Scripture passages.

Each entry includes prayer, reflective thoughts, and questions that nurture mind and soul.
